Prevailing Church was founded in 2009 by seven individuals who simply desired to create a place where people could experience God. From those humble beginnings, our desire has remained the same: to be a place where grace is given, healing is received, relationships are built and ministry is done. We are a community of people growing together, serving together and connecting people to God.

God
We believe in one God, eternally existing as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death on the cross for our sins, His bodily resurrection and His return.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active in the life of every believer, empowering us to live, grow, serve and become more like Christ.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our foundation for faith, truth and Christian living.
Salvation
We believe salvation is God's gift of grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ, not something we earn through our own works.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, love people, make disciples, serve others and share the Gospel.
Healing & Restoration
We believe God desires to bring healing and restoration to broken lives and that through Christ people can experience forgiveness, freedom, purpose and new life.
MEET OUR PASTOR
David Dean | Founding & Senior Pastor
Pastor David Dean is the founding and Senior Pastor of Prevailing Church. Since 2009, he has served with a passion for connecting people to God and helping people understand that their struggles, failures and imperfections do not disqualify them from God's purpose. His ministry emphasizes grace, inner-healing, spiritual growth, holiness and an authentic relationship with God. Pastor Dean has been married to his wife, Rochon, for 33 years, and together they have built a life centered around faith, family and serving others.
